He actually made wacky moves for a purpose. Reminds me of Bird in a sense; he found ways to get his shot off all the time.

true not mentioned enough, pete still is college alltime scorer,42.2,he didnt even play frsh yr at lsu. pete was so good in 1970 the hawks picked him 3rd draft and gave him the richest contract ever,4 yrs@1.6 million. he was nba rookie yr. the hawks traded pete for 8 players to jazz. he became star with jazz, til 1980, the celtics picked him and he played last year with bird then retired with leg injury. pete battled alcohol, became christian, he died heart attack playing ball at church, age 40
