God is for us. Satan is against us. God has prepared a home for those who love him - heaven. This world is just a temporary place. We are just passing through and God remembers his own. We may go through hard things now, but God knows the big picture.

Actually, Satan didn't target Haggard. It was God. You see, God loves to find his most faithful chidren, build them up, and destroy their lives. It is the tears of the faithful that gives God his terrible powers and sustain his unquenchable blood thirst.

Stop gloating over haggard. Yes, he fell big time, but if you are a senior pastor than you are on the frontline in a spiritual battle - a big target for satan, so haggard fell. But he has repented and God is merciful and lifts up the humble and those who truly are sorry. Gos if for the sinner and we all need forgiveness from God. Get back up Haggard and maybe this will be for your own spiritual good - pruning out the sin that beset you.
